Broughton Archipelago Wildlife Photography Tour
Explore the wild beauty of British Columbiaโs Broughton Archipelago on an unforgettable wildlife photography adventure. This remote network of islands, channels, and rugged coastline is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife and offers some of the most spectacular coastal scenery on the Pacific Northwest.
Throughout the tour we will travel through productive marine waters and along forested shorelines searching for bald eagles, seabirds, marine mammals, and coastal bears. Encounters with humpback whales, Northern Resident orcas, Pacific white-sided dolphins, sea lions, and sea otters are all possible in this rich and dynamic ecosystem. Keep watch along the shorelines as wellโcoastal wolves are occasionally seen moving between beaches and forest edges in search of food.
Our custom-built rigid hull inflatable boat provides a stable and highly maneuverable platform, allowing us to safely position ourselves for exceptional photographic opportunities. With the ability to move quickly between locations, we can respond to wildlife activity and changing light conditions to help you capture memorable images.
This tour is ideal for photographers who want close access to wildlife, dramatic coastal landscapes, and the opportunity to photograph one of British Columbiaโs most remarkable marine environments.
Daily Itinerary: Our daily schedule will remain flexible and will be determined by weather, tides, and wildlife activity, allowing us to take full advantage of the best photographic opportunities each day.
